As a podcaster our voice is so important. So what can we do to look after it and get the most out of it?
Joining me in this episode is Nic Redman, a spoken voice coach and accent specialist, voiceover artist and podcaster, who’s worked her magic on the likes of Sarah Millican, Denise Welsh and Kris Hitchen and for productions on CBBC, BBC Radio 4, Radio 2 and Netflix - helping people use their voices in a multitude of different ways. As well as working with those at the top of their acting or presenting game on vocal techniques helping them to understand and develop their voice, produce new accents or improve their mic technique.
Nic also supports business professionals to find confidence and presence in public speaking, encouraging them to gain a more charismatic delivery. Her podcasts The Voice Coach Podcast and The Voiceover Social have ranked number 1 internationally and been nominated for numerous awards including The International Women in Podcasting Awards and The British Podcast awards. Alongside her colleague Leah Marks, Nic was recently awarded the Inspiration Award at the One Voice Conference for her commitment to giving back to the voiceover community through podcasting. She is based in the UK and runs her voice training business from a glorious retreats venue in the heart of the Northumberland countryside.
